6. Typestyle. As with the graphic part of the logo, I find it easier to look at the fonts printed out compared to on screen. Here I print out a sample of every font that could at least potentially be used. By cutting them up into their own pieces, I can try them with a graphic shape to see how they work together. As before, I narrow down the choices by discarding those I like least. Now I will try different weights, customized tracking and kerning, leading, etc. I'm tending toward typefaces that are almost monospaced.
